Name: Two-tone California Dodger

Project Description

This is a custom California dodger with curved aft stanchions, hand-stitched leather grab rail, four D-rings in the top, and a Top Gun chafe guard around the outside. Friction points have additional leather chafe guard. The dodger was fabricated with Sunbrella “Silicia Seasame,” Top Gun “Buckskin,” 40 gauge Strattaglass, 1-inch stainless-steel tubing and hardware, and UV-resistant leather. The client was inspired by a dodger he saw featured on Sunbrella.com, the Galatea project. We informed him that we would give him certain aspects of the design he showed us, while still including his independent ideas, our own aesthetics, and our own fabrication processes.
